Volleyball is essentially a game of transition from one skill to the next, serve – pass – set – attack – block – dig, with choreographed team movement between plays on the ball. The execution of these team movements determine the team’s ability (or lack of). Regardless of how smooth (or unsmooth) that transition may be, there is always room for improvement, a good work out and an opportunity to socialize.
Co-ed Adult volleyball is a recreational program offered through Winkler Parks and Recreation Department. The program generally runs from late October through March on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. (approximately) at Garden Valley Collegiate, Northlands Parkway Collegiate as well as Prairie Dale School.
