Start and Charge Canadian Lumber Timber Mart

Drop-in: Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for free coffee and baking or information about what we offer. Public internet access and food cupboard vouchers are also available during this time. Free haircuts by sign-up only from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Shine and Share: Starting September 14th the community store is open for clothing and other items on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You can also buy everyday staples at very reasonable prices, including toiletries and baby supplies during drop-in hours. Café 545: A community meal is held at Central Station every Monday. Whether you are new to town or are just looking for a way to connect with others in the community, we welcome you to join us for a meal! There is no sign-up and supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering with preparation, set-up, clean-up or help in the way of food or financial donations, contact us at 204-325-0257.

Women’s Low German Bible Study: Restarting October 16th, a weekly Low German Women’s Bible Study geared for Low German speaking immigrant ladies will be held on Monday mornings from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Our goal is that women would be encouraged and challenged to grow in their faith walk and form friendships with each other. Healthy Baby: On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. For women who are pregnant or have a baby under the age of one. Learn about your baby’s development, nutrition and health, parenting tips and meet other new parents. Free milk coupons, a healthy snack and child minding available for children over 1 year.
